After months of hard-work, never-ending meetings and continuous discussions on Whatsapp groups, Itisaras successfully launched its first magazine Dhaara on 3rd February 2019, themed on ‘Refugee settlement in Delhi’. The event started with Chief of Mission for UNHCR, Ms. Yasuko Shimizu’s words of appreciation and went on to host a remarkable panel discussion with legal activist and lawyer, Prashant Bhushan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Of Ambedkar University, Salil Misra and Itisaras’ founder Kunal Chauhan, hosted by Vinayak Dalmia. The conversation revolved around the meaning and relevance of Indian culture and pulled nationality, religion and politics under a critical microscope. Without mincing words, debate flowed unrestricted. It was a perfect simulation of what Itisaras stands for – the freedom to voice, support and defend. The show ended with a perfect dance performance by the talented young dancers of Sarvam Shakti Foundation. 
3rd February was the day we crossed yet another milestone and understood how much more we will achieve!
