Nikita completed her undergraduate degree in English and postgraduate degree in Cultural Studies from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University and The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad respectively. As an undergraduate student at Delhi University, she was a part of the students’ movement for hostel reforms, sexual harassment within and around educational spaces, and moral policing on campuses. Her current interest is in feminist scholarship, and understanding the implications of various positions and debates within it, and towards clarifying their stakes for feminist movement in India. She is currently teaching English in Hyderabad.
