The watchdog of society, the media is the torch that leads the way to liberty through disseminating information. Unfortunately, in contemporary times, their credibility is the biggest question mark. In a situation of a Pandemic like COVID-19, authenticity is paramount to stop the panic fire. But is race for TRP more important?
What the media truly needs is to culminate its pursuit of turning news into sophistry, revive its ethics and reinstate its position as the patron of truth.
