An odium against student electoral politics

While people and media never get tired of passing value judgements about Varsity level politics, the larger concern seems to be lost in the debate. We never realise the very need of politics or at least a system of representation for students. India is surely one of the youngest countries, but it also has one of the oldest parliament in the world. This paradox is nothing but harmful for the democratic sentiment, which or country proudly boasts of.
