A genuinely liberal culture or one that is advancing towards the thought is a consistent and solid arrangement of equity. In reality, when the government assistance of the populace is entangled in a political tussle of the predominant gatherings of society, it is the equity framework which anchors the fair soul. In contemporary India, the commonness of Khap Panchayats make for risky threats to this equity framework.

The Depressed Classes had long been discriminated against and systematically denied their rights for centuries in the country. But, with the Poona Pact of 1932, things started to change significantly for them as they could contest and win elections on the seats reserved for them. However, the Depressed Classes are far from complete liberation and a lot needs to be done for it beginning from now.
