Popularly known as the “Bandit Queen”, Phoolan Devi was a poor, low-caste woman, but also a fascinating Dacoit symbolizing bravery and fearlessness. She fought relentlessly against anything and everything life threw her way and became an icon for many. Today is her 19th death anniversary and after all these years, her legend only continues to live on.
